Agitation in Alzheimer's patients

Phase: III

Time Frame: 12 weeks

Age requirements: 50 to 90 years of age

Compensation: Up to $900 for patient and $450 for guardian/ caregiver

Key Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patient has clinically significant, moderate/severe agitation at the time of screening.
  • Patient has stable cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, and renal function.
  • ECG with no clinically significant findings.
  • If female of childbearing potential, must have been practicing a medically-acceptable methodof birth control for at least 1 month prior and continue with the same method during the entire study duration.

Additional Criteria:
At screening visit, additional criteria will be reviewed to determine eligibility for the study. Qualified participants will receive study medication, medical care and compensation for the time and travel of each completed study visit.
